A graduate of both Colby College and the Boston Architectural College, Marie McInnes has been applying her design expertise towards projects both modest and grand for over 20 years.
Centered around the belief that good design can change our daily lives, Marie’s practice plays with elements of scale, texture, color, and light to create dynamic spaces built for beauty, functionality, and creativity.
Marie regularly donates her services to worthy pro-bono projects. She designed one of the only handicapped-accessible shelters for survivors of domestic violence. The eight family residence balanced efficiency, economy, and aesthetics to create a space that felt like home.
In addition to Marie McInnes Inc, Marie cofounded MariMar LLC., with stylist Meg Erickson in 2016. The two combine their distinct creative visions to breathe new life into unexpected properties.
